Bansel Osteopathy is located right in the heart of Haywards Heath, which in turn, is located in the heart of Mid-Sussex. The location was chosen not only because of the pleasant rooms with great natural light but because of its fantastic location. Just a stone’s throw away from Haywards heath station and within easy walking distance of ample parking as well as on-site parking Avondale House was a perfect choice. Location plays a big role for a lot of patients, many of whom use buses, taxis, trains and cars to get to appointments as well as many who walk. Being accessible has always been a key factor.
Services and Therapies
We offer a wide range of therapies to help with aches and pains, fatigue, sports injury and so much more. We treat infants and babies as well as adults and elderly patients.
Osteopathy can be used to treat a huge range of issues including lower back pain, trapped nerves, sciatica, minor sports injuries, neck pain, joint pain and more. It is suitable for all ages from babies to elderly patients. Each treatment is specifically tailored to the individual through a detailed assessment and treatment plan.
This gentle and highly effective treatment uses very light pressure to allow the body to release tension. It is often associated with babies and children, for whom it works very well, but it is also just as effective on adults. It can be especially useful for people who do not feel comfortable with intense physiotherapy. We are experts in our field and well known in Sussex for using Cranial Osteopathy to great effect on babies, children and adults.
Also known as AK, this therapy is a system where we actually use muscle tests to find out where there are problem areas within the body. Developed in the 1960s by Do George Goodheart AK has become a very useful tool for those who struggle with a range of hard to identify problems. It can be used on its own or alongside blood tests and other more conventional methods.
Massage is a very powerful tool. It can be used to help with everyday stress, specific work based tensions, muscle problems, pain and poor joint mobility. We offer a wide range of massage types, and we are very happy to discuss certain issues and help provide the right solution.
Sports massage is specifically designed for those engaging in sporting activity. It can be used as a way to aid mobility and prevent injury as well as a way to help with recovery time after or during intense bouts of training or competition. Sports massage can help break down lactic acid and aid muscle repair as well as help with the mental stresses of competition.
