What is Applied Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a diagnostic system which uses muscle testing to ascertain areas of dysfunction within the body. It is based on the principle that our body is a self-regulating and correcting mechanism and that the body’s innate wisdom knows what is wrong – we just need to ask the right questions to find out what the problem is. We are proud to offer applied kinesiology in Haywards Heath and to patients across Sussex who are welcome to visit our practice to discuss the process, treatment and booking sessions.

Applied Kinesiology in Sussex
AK is suitable for all ages and treatment consists of structural manipulation/mobilisation, soft tissue and fascial techniques, cranial techniques, nutrition, homeopathy and meridian manipulation/acupuncture.
AK was developed by a chiropractor called Dr George Goodheart in the 1960s who took a holistic viewpoint on health. He acknowledged along with many others that an individual’s state of health is dependant on the balance between their structural, chemical and emotional/mental components (the triad of health) and for an individual to be functioning at their optimum, these three components need to be in balance. AK aims to achieve this and can be used independently as a diagnostic tool or in conjunction with more conventional methods such as x-rays or blood tests depending on the individual’s presenting problem.
If you are based in Sussex and would like a confidential chat to discuss whether applied kinesiology would be an appropriate approach to your condition prior to booking an appointment, please do not hesitate to contact clinic in Haywards Heath.
